waited 45 minutes to over an hour for drinks to come to the table.
Trap Door was such a great find in Clare! Highly recommend the brisket flatbread - omg so tasty that we stopped in both ways while traveling thru from Detroit to Frankfort and then back again. Very friendly, welcoming staff and tasty cocktails. Only suggestion is to have a curtain at the entrance to eliminate light glare when door opens and also give a little separation as customers enter the space. Highly recommend. 👍

It's 2026, stop calling it a speakeasy
We had the worse experience tonight. The waiter was all confused on who wanted to order. He looked at in person and his communication was awful. He tried walking away before the other two ordered. We got steak bruschetta which was cold and not steak. Looked like cold roast beef. We sent it back. Pretzel bites too a good 30 minutes to come to the table after everyone’s flatbread. Took forever to get our bill. Will never be back with the horrific service we got. We were the only table there.
