I can't believe what happened to me. I live in San Diego and shiping from Texas to San Diego for 2 axles is about $600. I had a trip to Iowa planned to visit my daughter and I was driving to take her a table I made for her so I thought I would take an extra day on the trip home and just pick them up. I called 2 weeks ahead so they could get them ready. I drove down on Monday and got to their shop on Tuesday morning. They had not done them yet. So I waited. I ordered 8k custom axles to upgrade the 7K axles on my fifth wheel. I used the spec sheet from the 7K axles to make sure they were exact. My plan, in the future, was to put disc brakes on the rv. I swapped out the axles, but who would think I had to take the hubs and brakes off to make sure the spindles were correct. When I finally got around to putting on the disc brakes, they would not fit because the axles came with short spindles that I did not order. There is no adaptor for the brakes.
