Worst experience with The Top Shop and haven't even received the counter top yet. -Wrong quote -Extremely bad communication -Call on the spot to deliver the countertop when I asked for a call in advance as a courtesy since I have a job and needed to take time off to receive the countertop -Delivery time quoted is completely different than real delivery time If I knew Home Depot hired this company to do the work, I would have found another option

We recently purchased kitchen countertops through Home Dept Woodstock and can't as of yet comment on the durability or longevity of the countertops themselves but would like to give 5 stars to the installer Shane. He was great to deal with and went over and above doing his job.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a supplier or contractor. We purchased a laminate countertop through Home Depot, which was manufactured and delivered by Top Shop. Within less than two months, the countertop swelled and bubbled, despite the kitchen still being under renovation and no water exposure from use. Top Shop refuses to take responsibility, claiming “moisture damage” and denying warranty coverage. Home Depot also deflects, even though they are the point of sale. I ordered counter tops from Home Depot which were then passed on to The Top Shop. Quite obviously, customer service has taken a nose dive in the last 5 years, and this company didn't disappoint. I told the agent at the store, specifically and multiple times during our conversation that I would not be home to accept my delivery before 12:30pm, and could not take an entire day off work to wait at home for a delivery that could take place at any given moment.
