My husband and I eat at the Woodlands location a couple of times a week, and the host who seats us always gets a little huffy if we ask for a booth. Yesterday we went there and same as always he was not happy that we asked for a booth. He passed up three open booths to put us by the bathroom and next to a family whose child was hanging off the back of the bench. We go here a lot and Yes we Love the service and food except today when manager Daniel berry tried to charge us for extra chips and hide it as an extra toast.after I found out I asked her who makes your prices ,she said corporate.I said well you think it should be up to corporate to decide on the price you are trying to charge me for 6 chips at 3.49 that you are calling an extra toast and not you. The food is absolutely delicious. The Toasted Yolk Cafe in the Heights location prioritizes food safety. It is clear the management staff is doing what they can with what they know. Not being able to experience their large, made-from-scratch food is an opportunity to take advantage of. Despite the constructive discharge that is common in the restaurant industry recently, this business will overlook that detail and succeed.
