I don’t know if this place is under new management or something because I used to come here all the time and it was good but we sat at our table for over 15 minutes, nobody came to acknowledge us. Servers walking past our table, nobody even offered water or came to speak to us so we got up and left. Extremely unprofessional and it wasn’t even busy at all, half the restaurant had empty tables.
Our first time at a Toasted Yolk & probably our last. Our server was great ( young man , dark hair who was training a new female server, he was very nice & attentive but the food & atmosphere was not. Food- Biscuits/gravy, eggs with side sausage. Food was cold, Biscuits tasted stale, gravy tasted like powdered mix, sausage patties were pale, looked microwaved. Everything was bland & needed salt. I want to thank the man working the front door today. I didn’t catch his name but he was extraordinary. I was working in front of the property in this scorching heat and went in to the restaurant to get a glass of ice water. He gave me one on the house. I want to thank him and the team. Will come back with my fiancé to try the food!. Good job Team of Toasted Yolk for leaving a good impression!
The Fulshear TYC is always good place to enjoy Breakfast. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Jun 2026 - Father's Day breakfast 8:30am with my children was a bit disappointing today bc my classic Benedict was not poached correctly (see pic). Therefore, I'm lowering my rating bc if you pride yourself on your Benedicts for goodness sake, make em right please. Aug 2026 - putting it back up to all great bc they did a good job all the way around todsy. We didn't order any Benedicts this time but our meal was great.
