When today at 10:30 after church. We had a party of 6 and needed a high chair. The restaurant was more than half empty, we were told they only had 2 tables for a party that big. Those parties had just ordered so we would have a 45 minute wait. The staff was very rude. There were 8 to 10 4 tops that could easily be pushed together to accommodate us, we were told they could not do that. So we left and went to Buttered Biscuit had a great meal and staff was very friendly. We will never go back to Toasted York.
Nice place, but can get crowded
Food was good. Irish coffee horrible and they wouldn’t remove from my ticket. Ordered shrimp and grits. Giving them a three because at least offer to change my drink instead of making me pay for something that taste horrible
Food was basic and bland. The "hash brown casserole" was mashed potatoes and nothing like a breakfast item. Bacon wasn't crispy and the biscuits were just barely past raw. One of mine didn't even have the browning at the bottom of the biscuit. Really felt like the food was made for people without dentures if you get my gist.
We had a party of 8. They told us upon arrival they were clearing tables. After 30 minutes and family after family getting seated, we asked. Oh whoops we gave your table away. After an hour they finally seated us. I had the Cordon Bleu sandwich. Asked for eggs over easy…got scrambled. Sandwich was just ok. Hashbrowns casserole that came with it was maybe 2 or 3 tablespoons. I will definitely not go back. Was not worth $75. I will say our server was great!
