Best fried chicken in Bend. Hushpuppies are amazing too!
It's evident the owner named this dive after himself. Thanks for the IBS I had for hours after eating here. I enjoyed my time on the toiIet and wiping with premium linens more than I enjoyed gagging on this slop that felt like I was on round two of fear factor.
I live in Bend but I lived in the South (Atlanta, GA) for a long time where the food scene is absolutely crazy good. The Tin Pig is the closest we've come to finding fried chicken as good as what were accustomed to in Georgia, with a friendly staff, fast service, currently located in a hidden gem of a food truck lot with corn hole, great beers on tap, and trivia nights. Can't recommend highly enough. Get the Sweet T chicken sandwich (pimento cheese and honey!) or The Tin Pig burger (pork belly OMG)!
I’m unsure of what these 1 star reviewers did to have such a “bad” experience with this food trucks owner, but I personally can’t relate to any of that. I’ve been by this spot several different times and the Nashville chicken sandwich is the BOMB. The people running this food truck have always had a pretty good attitude when i’ve stopped by, never rude, condescending or standoffish as these other reviewers have accused them of allegedly being, which leads me to one conclusion.
