I really enjoyed staying at The Tides! The location is amazing with walkable access to the beach as well as restaurants and shopping. It's about a 15 min walk to the downtown area. The staff are very accommodating and the service was great. I would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic location to walk to the beach, restaurants, Sawdust Festival, and Pageant of the Masters. Service is amazing - providing beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella for our group outing to the beach. We saw another guest borrow a boogie board and cooler. There seems to be no limit to their willingness to accommodate their guests. The only real negative is the occasional road noise from Pacific Coast Highway.
Absolutely loved this place. Centrally located to everything. Short walk to everything else. Would definitely stay again.
Great value for location
I was there here this past weekend. The lady that checked me in and the guy that checked me out had to be some of the friendliest people that I've ever experienced working at a hotel. The room had everything I needed and just a little more. The location is pretty good but it's not directly on the beach. We ended up booking another hotel that's directly on the beach and the boys stayed here over night and me and the miss stayed at the hotel directly on the beach
