Emily was my doula for the birth of my third child. She is simply amazing. She’s super passionate, empathetic, and knowledgeable about labor and delivery. I had 3 different doulas for each of my children. My first doula was amazing. By the time I was in my 2nd pregnancy my first doula was retired so I hired a doula recommended to me by my in-laws. I 100% recommend Emily as a birth doula! She was so helpful answering questions before the labor and assuring me that everything was progressing normally. She was calm, knowledgeable, and worked really well with my nursing team during the birth. As others have mentioned she took some great photos during / immediately after. Emily was always easy to reach, encouraging and really did support whatever preferences I had for my birth. I'm so glad we went with Emily!
Emily is an amazing birth professional. She does a great job balancing the esoteric aspects of birth with the physiological. Emily has an abundance of skill and experience that she combines with her compassionate approach. She’s my favorite person to connect expecting families to who are looking for a trauma informed, gentle, and a person centered doula.
Emily was incredible throughout our whole pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. As a first-time parent, she helped calm anxiety in the lead-up to the birth. She was so helpful during the birth. I had a long birth with some complications and she was so supportive of me and my partner. I'm not sure what we would have done without her! She came and visited us a week after the birth and it was so reassuring to have her advice. I can't recommend Emily enough! She is wonderful!
I had a precipitous second birth after an arduous fertility and pregnancy journey, but Emily handled it with ease. She was ready and waiting for each new symptom and emotion before I was even aware myself that it was about to hit. The questions asked and preparation done ahead of time meant she was able to support in exactly the way I needed. I couldn’t have asked for more!
