We have lived at Judson Park for 9 months, after spending 5 years researching and visiting CCRCs. Judson Park is a non-profit CCRC that has been in business for over 50 years. It was absolutely the right decision for us, and we are truly enjoying it. Lots of activities and trips, lectures, fitness classes, a library, card games, and great food. The staff has all been here for 12 to 20 years and is very dedicated. If you are considering such a move you cannot go wrong, and we are SO glad we did not wait too long.
This is a must see retirement community. It is brand new and the new main building will probably open in January. The buy-in is non-ownership with a percentage rebate at the end. The sales staff if is very knowledgable.
This retirement / extended care facility is run by ABHOW (American Baptist Homes of the West). Formerly known as Pilgrim Haven, this facility has been completely remodeled, with the newest sections to open by January 2017. The sales / marketing office shows a complete model of the property, and the sales personnel are helpful in retirement living options. Over the years, we have known and visited friends who retired there.
I recommend The Terraces of Los Gatos because there are lots of possible activities (such as line dancing, concerts, movies, painting classes, aquatics, bridge), beautifully maintained buildings and grounds, many social events with interesting fellow residents, and an ideal location with shopping centers nearby, and a very good dining room for meals. Now that we live here, we no longer need to maintain a home and garden, we and can be away without worries.
It is a joy to wake each morning, walk out on the balcony, through French doors to view the beautiful new xeriscape garden at Rosewood. We are so fortunate to call Rosewood home.
Rosewood is a wonderful community, while looking for a place for my mother many people had told me that rosewood was a place i should look at. When I finally went to look I was very suprised from the moment I arrived and during my entire tour. The sales office was wonderful and could not be more knowledgeable about there community. The greatest thing was all of the people I encountered all seemed genuine about what they were doing. We are a couple of months from making our final decision but felt the need to let people know ... read more
I am very satisfied with every aspect of Rosewood Senior Living! Rosewood has a great community feel, all of the other residents are very friendly.
Rosewood has been a Godsend for our family. We no longer worry about Mom being in a very large house all by herself!! There are constantly fun and educational things going on, and always some great trip planned. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure that their residents are happy and well cared for. I just wish that I could live there myself - right now!!!! Hopefully in the future.........
