The Terrace & their staff was the highlight of our time in Edgartown. We experienced one of the best meals that we have had in a while. The attention to detail and quality of service was second to none. We even came back for a second evening - they remembered us, our lovely conversations from the night before and even our orders (the gnocchi and martinis were so great we repeated the meal two nights in a row). Absolutely delightful hotel and restaurant. From the ambience to the service we felt so welcomed and cared for. The prices definitely match the quality and the Dover sole was probably one of the best dishes I have had in my life, and I have been to over 30+ Michelin star restaurants. The staff was so welcoming and helpful without the feeling of pretentiousness. That is a delicate line to walk and they walked it with grace. Will come again!
While the atmosphere is beautiful, we were disappointed with the experience. The staff is very pretentious and called us before to make sure we were “familiar with the dress code.” This could be looked past except for the food was very expensive and not worth the price. It was quiet and stuffy in there. There were only a few options on the menu and nothing peaked our interest.
