If you leave your loved ones here, make sure you put cameras in their room and lock all valuables including wallet. Staff here steal and then will blame others. Also very unhygienic, I found soiled adult diapers thrown in a closet on top of personal belongings. The Teddington is in a league of its own. While many places offer care, the staff here offer their hearts. Having had two family members in their care, I can vouch that their emotional investment is unmatched. They don't just see residents; they see family. At The Teddington, the care isn't just a checklist; it’s a culture of genuine love. Although the facility is lovely, the beauty of this home is far more than skin deep.
I want to thank the Teddington Retirement staffs and Management team who took amazing care of my dad during his stay. When we first visited, we were hesitant if our dad would be ok and when we were greeted by the manager Betty Daignault, she made sure we would have a wonderful experience visiting the retirement home for my dad. My sister and I have been volunteering at The Teddington Retirement Residence for a few months, and it has been incredibly fulfilling. Spending time doing activities with residents to brighten their day has been such a joy. The kindness of the residents and the dedication of the staff make this community very special.
I thoroughly enjoy coming to play piano for the residents! They are such a lively and appreciative audience. I always come away smiling.
