Won’t be wasting my time with these gals again. I drive 7 miles to one of their estate sales. 1 minute after walking in the door they ran me out and said they were closing for lunch. They have at least 5 people working the sale why can’t they stagger their lunch time or just bring something with them? Especially if you are located in the middle of nowhere and people spend their time and gas driving to get to you. Bad business practice will eventually destroy you.
Employees are allowed to put back items for themselves. These items are clearly seen in sale listing photos but once inside the sale , you never see them or they are already on or under the hold table for the employees to purchase. If you ask about said items, employees will lie or gaslight you to cover their tracks. This has happened to me on more than one occasion. If you are wanting a particular or popular item in one of these sales, don’t waste your time.
Prices are usually fair. However, please be aware that the workers and their friends have first dibs on items. Some of the workers get to view everything inside the house and then will go sit out in line where they discretely placed a chair so that they are first in line and can get to the items they want before everyone. I was in line 4 hours and was the first there to wait, and then later some of the workers or other people/friends come out and say they were first in line because "they placed their chair next to the door."... read more
