Great getaway! Super clean and comfortable. Rooms had lots of amenities, good coffee and ceiling fans plus portable fan.. Location was perfect and very quiet.
The Swan Hotel is a small boutique type hotel in downtown Port Townsend. The location is excellent. Certain rooms have a view of the water which is lovely. We had a shared balcony and met some lovely people that way. The rooms aren't huge but were definitely adequate. I loved having a microwave, refrigerator and coffee in the room. The room was very clean with no cleaning smell. Unless asked, they do not service the room during your stay which was fine with me. I’m not sure why there are so many great reviews about this place. The location was great but the room (we were in a cottage) was tiny and everything was outdated. The bed was uncomfortable. Most of the things in the room were not functioning correctly. There was only 6 inches or so between the bed and the wall on one side and the bed was either a queen or a full sized bed. Our room was not cleaned during our stay and there was no communication from the staff about cleaning. We asked for more soap and the person working the ... read more
I just returned from another wonderful stay at The Swan Hotel in Port Townsend over the Fourth of July holiday, this time with my dog, Scout. We’ve stayed here many times over the years, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The Swan has become a peaceful refuge for us—especially during the holiday when fireworks are everywhere. Scout doesn’t do well with loud noises, and the quiet, cozy atmosphere of the hotel gave her (and me) a place to relax and feel safe.
