The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were charming, clean, and comfortable. The hotel offers views of the waterfront and is located a very short walking distance from the downtown galleries, bars, and restaurants. Port Townsend is a beautiful little town and I look forward to visiting here again soon!
At the last minute I decided that I didn't want to be alone in my place for New Year's Eve. After looking at ridiculously over priced resorts to spend the night, I happened upon The Swan. It was a perfect mini getaway with my furry child. I was able to secure the only cabin available for pets. It was great. The Swan Hotel sits smack dab in the middle of the maritime ambience of Pt. Hudson. Visitors get to immerse themselves in the nautical history of sailors, paddlers, fisher-people and the salty dreamers from the deck where my wife and I stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the marina. If you listen carefully you hear voices plotting their next offshore adventure or R2AK race strategies. The staff is professional AND personable. Wonderful inn with an attentive staff. Great location right across from the water with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
