One of the hospital clerks she looked about 65 years old, short female in the emergency department, standing outside that handles admin and check in. I walked in to see my 13 year old sister who was bleeding in the children’s sector and was let in by my mum, she continued to follow me and gave me disgusting attitude about “I’m handling what you just did, next time you need to tell me,” absolutely blowing steam and rolling her eyes. Super busy under staffed so quick to rush people home … but my real gripe is public hospital And they don’t even have a water dispenser in the emergency ward , not sure the reasons oh I get the reason they want to charge you $5:30 for a bottle of water via the vending machine ! The reception staff at this hospital’s emergency department showed no respect at all for patients. My kid was bleeding continuously, and when we asked how long the wait would be, we were told it could be up to 2 hours and 40 minutes. We waited for more than three hours. When I asked again how much longer it would be, I was told they didn’t know, and that waiting over three hours was normal — even when a two-year-old child is bleeding, hungry, and not even given water.
