Having been through the emergency department many times with myself,kids and family members,last Sunday was probably the best I’ve had in any hospital. I attended ED last Sunday after sustaining a rib injury. Although it was slow to be seen initially, once I was assessed by the nurse practitioner and then a wonderful doctor by the name of Chris Lycett, I couldn’t have been in better hands. Chris was the whole package, helping me to walk, helping me to change into a gown, organising scans, cannulating, providing pain relief and management. He gave me his time.
