Taylor is great and very knowledgeable of the community. She was very helpful during my tour and move in process. The community manager Mike and lead concierge is fantastic as well! The property is beautiful, everyone has been pleasant and the location is perfect. I highly recommend The Sur and I am excited to call it home.
Had the pleasure of short term living here. The staff is pleasant and so are the residents. Everyone has been friendly and respectful. The only drawback is cellphone service isn’t great but as long as you are on WiFi, it’s usually fine. For the proximity of the train tracks and tarmac, the doors and windows are very good. You can barely hear your neighbors, if at all. Overall nice place to live!
We’ve lived here for 2 years and just renewed our lease. The cleaning staff is fantastic and always around, and maintenance is quick, friendly, and reliable. Rent is significantly lower than comparable buildings in DC or Alexandria—new buildings next door are charging over $3,800 for a 2BR and $7,000+ for a 3BR, which is wild. Yes, the garage door was open for a while, but it’s one of three secured access points and never felt like a safety issue. The application process at The Sur was incredibly smooth! Moona was a tremendous help throughout — she patiently answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure my move-in experience was seamless. I truly appreciate her professionalism and support. Excited to call The Sur my new home!
