Had an invoice for a tub install, no demo needed. Cleared and empty space. I had a brand new tub already, inside, just beside bathroom door. I asked for a tub install and the spout to be moved up to accommodate new tub. The plumber recommended a new four way valve as the old one was aged. He said he would send and invoice for the tub and fourway valve and another invoice for just the faucet. The four-way alone was a whopping $1700. The tub and four-way invoice was $2500.
