The Directors and their team of people are all so warm and friendly. I attended an event at The Summit and was thoroughly impressed by the longevity of the employees that work there. The food was exquisite. The community was clean and beautiful. I met some of the residents who seemed very happy to live there. I would definitely recommend this senior living community to anyone searching for a new place to call home.
I work there through agency and the workers and patients are nice. They put there patients first and always have the time to listen to their needs and wants.
My 92 year old sister has been a resident at The Summit at Sunland Springs for over two years. I know almost 90% of the staff. I know the leadership and the extended community of support such as Trask Mobile Medical and EmpowerMe Wellness (PT and OT). After researching and interviewing several communities and using A Place for Mom we selected The Summit. It was the correct choice.
Mom has been in independent living at The Summit nearly 2 years and we have been very pleased in all aspects. There is a strong sense of community and both staff and residents are welcoming. The facility is about 9 years old and was specifically built as a senior living home. A unique aspect is that independent and assisted living rooms are indistinguishable.
