It was my first time coming to the studio. I had really long hair growth, been a year since I cut it. I was booked with Sheenara, it was a pleasure to meet and gab with her while she cut my hair. I cut short, shoulder length, curtain style bangs, and layers. No color this time around, leaving it my virgin color for now, might possibly do highlights in the near future. I am visiting from out of province. Cailin was absolutely amazing! I am older and have very short hair. I was nervous as I've had bad cuts in the past. Short hair isn't easy to cut. Cailin actually listened to me describe awkwardly what I wanted and she nailed it! So much so that I'm going back for the product she used on it. I can't say enough how relaxed I felt there... I wish I could take her back with me when I leave!
It is always a treat to visit the Studio Okng. I have been going to Ruth for many years and always love her cuts and our conversations. I’ve also had my hair styled by Laura twice now and she is very skilled and really takes her time on the details. And the extra care she gives during the hair wash is so relaxing! Ruth has created such a lovely space where you are pampered and treated with genuine kindness. Highly recommend!
I love getting my hair done here! I have gone to Ruth and Andjela, and they are both fantastic! I always leave feeling like a new woman. The salon has a great vibe and I always recommend them to my friends!
This place is the best. Ruth is a magician… she foresees what I want and need, filling in the blanks in my sentences and hair needs! Always introducing me to the latest and greatest. Also, their shop is gorgeous, the plants and natural light are perfection.
