My niece Sophia and I have made this our tradition each year. We enjoy it very much. Adding the lamb and chalk was a great idea. Jeff and the lady at the counter are amazing. They great each and every guest with a warm Welcome Aboard and smile. We are looking forward to our next train ride.
Our guide Jeff was knowledgeable and passionate about his town, he was the only part of the ride that we enjoyed. The foliage change was not that good and scenery around the area was not pleasant. I/we would not recommend the ride.
I had such an awesome time on the Stourbridge Line! Honesdale has so much cool history—it’s literally the birthplace of the American railroad—and you can really feel that vibe while you’re hanging out at the station and boarding cars. The actual train ride was incredible, especially the views as you wind along the river; it’s the perfect way to just kick back, relax, and soak in the scenery for a couple of hours.
