We rented a climate controlled storage unit at the Storage Barn in Hillsborough NH for a short period of time while transitioning from one home to another. I must say the process was easy and the unit was clean and the first floor access was wonderful! The hours of operation are more than adequate and the use of floor dollys and hand trucks was also very convenient. I was a long term renter for over three years. There was a persistent problem of water getting into my unit. Had to throw away thousands of dollars worth of furniture due to water damage and mold growing on everything. The only thing the owners did was put a lock so they could access the unit and keep an eye on it after multiple attend to fix the problem. I had to use the unit for a job I had after throwing away all the furniture a little over a year ago. I had to buy pallets to keep everything off the ground. Even now over ... read more
