Absolutely shocking experience, took my eldery mum for a cataract surgery in April 2021, all staff members were extremely rude including the surgeon who came to see us to explain the procedure, mum doesn't speak English so I was there to support her and translate everything, the surgeon made a nasty comment why mum didn't learn how to speak english and was very ignorant with her throughout the whole time ,not supportive at all ! mum was very stressed out before they took her in for the procedure , I waited for her in a waiti... read more

It’s been nearly 4 years since I had my eyes done at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. I had such bad eyesight and the surgeon said it probably wouldn’t turn out as good a result as I would hope for however it did and better as I hardly need glasses now. It’s great! I had a fluid filled cyst removed from my lower eyelid by Antonella who was superb. Everything was explained thoroughly, her team were so kind, caring and theatre staff very supportive. Really put me at ease. The hospital is spotless. All the staff from reception to nursing were exceptional! Thank you
I am so grateful to all the staff at Stoneygate. The consultants were so professional and caring. I've used them a few times both privately and through the NHS. Cataract surgery (Mr Sampath), YAG on both eyes (Mrs Berry- Brincat), also a procedure to reduce scarring after a BCC removal close to my right eye. The reception staff are great and the technicians too. I highly recommend.
