Spent some time this week in the barn. Absolute perfection. Clean , warm and all amenities plus more. The creek subtlety flowing outside was also so calming. Geoffrey was the perfect host who you never saw but was there in a flash the one time.e I needed assistance. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful venue. Can't wait for my next visit.
Disappointing. We chose this place for the fireplace, however you couldn't see the flames through the fireplace window. Arrived with no kindling, fire starters and other housekeeping stuff had been forgotten. It was freezing on the first night and the gas heater has instructions to turn off overnight. You need to pay $15 a night for wood just to keep the place heated. The fridge froze everything in the main fridge area but didn't freeze ice blocks in the freezer section. Wow, what a fabulous place to stay! We stayed in The Barn cottage using both bedrooms and it was perfect for a friends getaway. The cottage set in a gorgeous private garden was the big win for me, it felt like a wonderland escape complete with babbling creek! Very comfortable queen beds with luxury bedding plus a large spa bath adds to the grand escape. Very comfortable lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and high quality. the cutest, most convenient cottage ever with the sweetest owner. so easy to get to, Geoff never was at all imposing but answered all of our questions/calls, and was the perfect size for two people. cannot recommend enough
