I was "upgraded" to a 1 bedroom apartment at the very rear of the motel, the door had been previously kicked in and the parking was in a laneway frequented by suspicious characters. I asked to be reloacted into the motel itself for more secure parking and was given a queen room next to the laundry. The laundry operating times were not aheared to or enforced with a drier operating at 9:30PM, the shower flodded the bathroom and the basin tap was damaged. Really disappointed with the condition of the room for the price - definitely not worthy of a four star rating. I've stayed in much better rooms for a much lower price. When I raised my concerns with management they were disregarded. The room I was put in was very dated and in desperate need of a reno - mould in the room and missing tiles in what was an old spa bath (now disconnected). I feel conferences are their priority and all other guests are secondary. The only positive was the food and service in the onsite restaurant... read more

The rooms were nicely furnished, bathrooms were comfortable, small floor length mirror in the room also, I had the queen suite I believe with a desk as well which was good for working on, service was good and the people were polite and friendly, there’s a restaurant located inside the motel which was reasonably priced. Easy check in, clean, hot shower, very comfortable bed. Quiet, block out curtains. Rhiannon at reception is wonderful. She answered calls promptly. Was informed and went above and beyond for me.
