The soups are ok at best. Maybe a half step above fast food soups. On the plus side they are cheap and the service is usually fast.

The soups are ok at best. Maybe a half step above fast food soups. On the plus side they are cheap and the service is usually fast.
I finally had the chance to try The Stew Pot. While they have good menu and are reasonably priced, my friend and I were surprised at how watery the soups are. They were also out of lettuce for salads in the middle of the lunch hour, which other customers informed us happens regularly. So, I would probably go back because I like to support locally owned restaurants; however, it wouldn't be my first choice.
