I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at The Station at MacArthur has been extremely disappointing. The biggest issue is the maintenance. Work orders remain open for weeks without any updates, and even after multiple follow-ups at the leasing office, we rarely receive a response or an estimated timeline. I had the worst experience imaginable at this apartment complex. They left me without electricity for 10 days right after I moved in because the apartment had an outstanding balance; only the management office could clear it by confirming I was a new tenant. To get that done, I had to go to the office every single day for 10 days straight with my newborn baby. For my first rental, I paid a $250 deposit. A year later, I moved to a different apartment and was forced to pay another deposit of $1,550. They charged me for a carpet cleaning at the first apartment—unjustifiably, since I had left it clean when I moved out—but they didn't even notify me about the charge; they simply sent the bill straight to collections without deducting it from my deposit. The doors are useless—they’re always left open. Don't even get me started on the mailroom; it’s been closed for over three months, and I lost all the letters I was supposed to receive during that time. The management staff are awful people—they treat you like dirt and never return your security deposit; they always come up with some absurd excuse to avoid paying you back. Plus, the pool is closed in the summer and filthy. In short: the absolute worst.
