The view from our room on the 50th floor was great. The lifts - terrible, pool / gym good - except we weren’t able to access the outdoor pool on the 6th floor which was annoying. We could hear the unit above walking around on the floor which wasn’t great. Data / WiFi wasn’t great. We were due to stay here again at Christmas but have just changed for somewhere else nearby as I can only imagine how hard it would be to get a lift during peak periods!
Ok, I maybe considered by some to be a bit of a geriatric old Pom. But, hopelessly under lifted - you really don’t expect to wait over 10 mins before you are able to cram yourself into one of the 4 lifts serving 55 floors. Plus, the whole building often suffers from a weird harmonic “singing” probably due to water whizzing round the pipes.
Danny the Receptionist is excellent. Always more than happy to help us with any questions we have. Very welcoming and remembering us on our return. Highly recommend him. Fantastic service. The accommodation is 5 star - we love staying here. Thank u
