We recently spent 3 nights (12th - 14th April) at The Star Residence in a one bedroom apartment on Floor 43. The apartment was relatively clean, smelt fresh and had all the facilities (kitchen, laundry) we needed for our stay. Our western side location allowed us unimpeded views to the hinterland. Check-in was easy, at the very unassuming Residence foyer, staff were always polite and the elevators had acceptable wait times. First thing we saw when we entered the apartment were cockroaches. It took a full night and day for the managers to come and put treatment. Another major issue was that they only give one room key per apartment. This was incredibly inconvenient, as you also can't use the lift without the single key fob. Management were very dismissive of these issues. Another negative is picking up the keys from a Dropbox at the tram stop a few hundred metres away. When attended, car park works were underwater and directions to lifts could have been explained better. However, wonderful clean rooms, staff friendly and location is excellent. Look no further than the star to stay

We stay here any time we are going to a Sydney show. The biggest downfall is they seem to let their maintenance fall by the wayside. Everytime we stay here something is broken or leaking. It's always mentioned just so they know but every room we've stayed in has had some sort of issues.
