If I could give it zero stars I would. We had to pay up front and figured out why.....it took over an hour and a half to get the food, we had to go find our own silverware, salt pepper any condiments we could find on other tables napkins. Didn't get one of the drinks we ordered, had to go get more water for our table and a key for the restrooms which had no toilet paper. Then the food wasn't good. Heads up to future guests AVOID.
Lucked out with it opening for the day when we got there at 11. The bakery side was open so they opened the restaurant side when we got there. Lots of goodies in the bakery and they were just getting the bakery going with bread. The menu isn't what you would expect in the land of the pasty. Japanese influence on the salads and sandwiches. I enjoyed the restaurant and the food was good. It was a cool atmosphere. I was disappointed that they only serve breakfast on Sunday and lunch only certain days as well. The cinnamon rolls are only on the weekend too.
Really good and fresh food.
We visited Ennis for the 4th and had heard good things about this place. First of all, I’m a sucker for the old time vibes. But the food is the real reason why I’m writing this review. I got the Caramelized Onion Burger and it may have been the best burger I’ve ever had. And I eat a lot of burgers! And their bakery was amazing too! Definitely make this little spot a destination if you’re passing through!
