This was the perfect venue for us. It was absolutely beautiful and despite wanting the ceremony outside (it rained) the staff made the conservatory area perfectly beautiful and I think I ended up liking it more. They were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. I am so glad we picked this place. They also have an incredible bar package and base the best prickly pear margarita! 10/10
Sarah and her staff are very kind and the business is VERY community facing. I appreciate their beautiful venue and how much they give back to nonprofits here in Rockford. Do not hesitate to do business with The Standard! I typically partner with the venue for nonprofit work events and want to emphasize that their venue can accommodate all types of events. Everything is always clean and well kept.
As a wedding photographer I LOVE every time I get to work at the Standard! The getting ready spaces for both people getting married is incredible - plus the easy parking. I love the gorgeous rooftop for ceremonies with amazing lighting (and optional rooftop dancing) but the star of the venue is the Conservatory with exquisite chandeliers and views of downtown Rockford sunsets. The staff is truly wonderful and accommodating - I love them so much I hosted my baby shower at the Standard.
I cannot recommend The Standard enough! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, their team was kind, communicative, and incredibly accommodating. On the day of our wedding, they truly went above and beyond by stepping in to help with hiccups from other vendors and making sure everything stayed on track. Bri even did my calligraphy for me as a last minute request! Their bar staff was absolutely amazing, made great drinks, and extended our cocktail hour when needed.
