Server was nice but was served a half glass of wine and I even asked the server why it was so low and she assured me multiple times it was a full glass. The entire bar top even told me it wasn’t a full glass of wine but she continued saying it was a full glass. Very disappointed. I understand if standard pours here are of a certain ounce amount but I have visited this restaurant around 10-15 times and have never received something like this.
Great service and menu. The food is very good and you get a good amount for you money. The tacos are overflowing With meat and delicious.
We walked into this tavern expecting a normal dining experience, but it quickly turned into pure frustration. We were seated right away, which made it seem promising—but then… nothing. For over 10 minutes, not a single staff member acknowledged us. No greeting, no water, no “we’ll be right with you”—just completely ignored. Great place to watch a game.
The Bartonville Tavern is an unexpected vibe compared to the bustling nature of other nearby establishments. It is a quieter place to have a drink/conversation. The Tavern offer several games for some family fun, but it was extremely dark inside - giving it a bit of a "seedy" vibe. The drinks and service were good, but the establishment itself could use a bit of a "glow-up."
