A very disappointing start to our weekend. We booked a table in the American Bar for 8pm. Admittedly we were early by 30mins but when we asked to wait in the ground floor restaurant and have a drink were told the, half empty, restaurant was only for hotel guests. With no seats outside the American bar we were ushered to the lobby with a suggestion we wait there. No drinks service, not even water in the lobby. Extremely disappointing for a first visit.
