It’s seldom that I have the opportunity to give a 5 star review; especially in my home town and that I am compelled to do so. But our experience this evening was absolutely first class. Each dish was prepared with perfection and a presentation deserving of a Michelin star. There are a variety of awesome donning experiences in Missoula, but the service and composition is truly in a class of its own.
I had high expectations and they were delightfully exceeded. My wife and I spent our anniversary here and the food and drinks were excellent. I had the lamb and my wife had the steak. The lamb dish was designed beautifully and the flavors were so well thought out and carefully curated. It was a privilege to eat. We both left saying this was one of the best meals of our lives. They served charred burnt crostini and the lamb was well done after being ordered medium rare. Very disappointing.
Tourists visiting first time. GM kind enough to call to let us know they were running behind on reservations. Showed up 25 minutes late as requested, still not ready. Sat at sister bar next door and paid for a round of drinks. Seated 45 minutes after original reservation. First two appetizers we wanted were sold out. Food and service were good. Everything was perfect!!! Trout was delicious (we ordered it as an appetizer), the ribeye was juicy and full of flavor. The server was just right -kind and attentive yet didn’t interfere.
