As a former tenant at 150 Saint-Norbert, I strongly advise against renting from CAPREIT due to ongoing stress and breaches of Quebec’s Civil Code. Despite notifying them in April—well within the legal 6-month window—that we intended to terminate our lease ending October 31, 2025, management acted in bad faith by demanding an unnecessary lease assignment.
