We've used St. Lucie Appraisal in the past and did so again last month. They are professional art appraisers who really do all of the investigation necessary to find the actual fair market values of works of art.

For the last three antique cars I purchased in Florida I used The St. Lucie Appraisal Co. of Fort Pierce to do the appraisals and condition reports. The SS 396 Chevelle, the 55 Chevy Convertible and the 72 Drop top Deville all arrived as described. Very satisfied with St. Lucie Appraisal and will use them again to appraise a street rod next....

While on the road my wife informed me that my insurer wouldn't insure my new chopper for $45K after agreeing they would insure it for what I paid. Stopped at a truck stop in Fort Pierce, Florida, called 10 appraisal companies who all said it would take a week. The lady at the desk had St. Lucie Appraisers business card so I called them. The insurance adjuster from "the insurance company from Hell" would not budge from his offer of $1,500 for diminished value of my 2010 Lexus after it was repaired. St. Lucie Appraisal estimated the diminished value at $5,700. The best part was the adjuster couldn't dispute my appraiser's figures and I was paid the full amount. Anyone in Florida who is having problems with a diminished value claim would do well to go with experts like these guys.
