Our chefs are committed to creating scratch-made dishes that honor the cuisine of a classic Irish pub while using real ingredients and healthy preparation. And over the past two decades, our customers have come to love us for our award-winning fish and chips served with London pub malt vinegar pickled onion tarter, fresh Cod, and hand cut fries. Our brick-walled interior is perfectly cozy with plenty of cool touches, like the modern light fixtures over our bar or the portrait of Irish poet, Seamus Heaney, that hangs behind i... read more

A group of us keeps going to bar because of it's proximity to work. They do have quite a selection of imported beers on tap and in bottles. The only two food items on the menu I can say I really like are their one dessert selection and fried calamari. Damn, those are good. I have tried the fries (even the fancy ones that proport using black truffle oil) and the buffalo wings, they were expensive and nothing to crow home about. Beer good, food poor. I always end up spending $20 or so here for 2 (fancy) beers and food.
best place on a thursday night – while nearly every night except thursdays (and now one saturday a month) is pretty quiet at the pig, thursday nights are the most fun you could have in a month and a definite way to wind up the week. The pig is a great hide-away dive bar thats always warm and inviting. mike barret plays there every thursday to a full house of locals and college kids. everyone has a pint in their hands and sings along with mike at the top of their lungs. if you want to go out with a bunch of friends, laugh and... read more
it's a good, fun spot and shows soccer on the big screen... packed during world cup...good food, good drinks, excellent service.
Worst service ever! – We went there as a large group in the middle of the week when the place was empty. The wait staff went out of their way to be unhelpful and rude. Usually, large groups get asked more than once if they want another round of drinks, at the squealing pig, the wait stuff took the initial order and then they gathered in a corner to hang out. We had to constantly get their attention to order more drinks and food. Boston has plenty of pubs with cheap beer and bad food, skip the squealing pig and go to a place ... read more
Laid-back locals and college kids flock to this quaint Irish bar that serves up comfort food with flare. – In Short Tiny white lights strung from exposed iron beams cast a glow onto the well-worn pine tables and end-to-end bar at The Squealing Pig. A dozen taps flow with Irish and English brews, while steaming plates of satisfying bar food are churned out of an open kitchen. Typical of the menu is a traditional quesadilla that's stuffed with spicy chicken, or "Toastie" sandwiches filled with brie and cranberry, or blue chees... read more
