ON GOOGLE: Since my review on the Summit Cove property management site for Unit 8841 was submitted for "approval" I am copying it here so others are aware not to stay in this unit or any unit at the Springs. Here is what I wrote that likely won't be "approved" Do not stay in this unit unless you like sleeping on cheap and old mattresses. If I could I would give them zero star … they said check in at 4 pm and it’s 6 pm still in cannot check in … please save yourself headache and book somewhere else absolutely worst experience ever …
While the units are nice, if a little dated, I would not recommend anyone stay here until the construction next door is finished. The very loud construction noise will wake you every day, starting as early as at 6 AM, which is far from ideal for a restful vacation. Perhaps units farther away from the construction would fair better, but we were given a unit directly facing and just feet away from the construction and no alternatives or compensation was offered.
The Springs lodging was a bait and switch. I booked in December because it was marketed as a ski in ski out location. We paid a premium for this location and the representative sold it under this misrepresentation. We were never told that Keystone is building a new lodge/condo directly in front of The Springs Condominium. This new construction blocks mountain views, makes it difficult to navigate around and was constantly noisy (7am-6pm). The Springs is no longer an easy ski in-ski out location. Our rooms were fantastic. All the comforts of home. The pool and hot tub were very clean and beautifully decorated. Sauna was out of order. Workout facility was small but more than adequate. Short walk to the gondola was never a problem. I’d have no problem going back and probably will.
