We cannot express how pleased we were with Tamarack Welding's service and advice. We arrived in Whitehorse on a Friday evening and learned on the Saturday of Discovery Day weekend (8/16/25) that we had an issue with one of our Little Guy Max trailer wheels. We left a voice message for Tamarack Welding that day, and they were back in touch with us after the long weekend and were able to get our trailer into the shop that afternoon. An extraordinary team that was super friendly, and super efficient. I broke a 4,000 lb spring on our RV 5th wheel. Drove 170 miles to their shop. They fabricated the replacement and a spare as I waited. It all fit perfect and we were back on the road the next day. I can’t say enough about how great these folks were. This is right place to be for travelers needing suspension help on their rig. Thank you ! We will never forget you !
Tamarack Welding saved our bacon after our T@B teardrop trailer suspension failed on the rough western-most Yukon stretch of Alaska Hwy. Elisa promptly returned a phone plea from Haines for help, got us in promptly. Chris and Steve refitted the rig with a new axle with leaf springs; now rides high and proud.
Cannot even express how pleased I was with the service, advice and attention we received. Arrived at 1:30 with bent axles on our RV and this shop was able to replace both axles, the undersized brakes etc by 5 pm the same day! Price was very reasonable considering our predicament! Service and advice exceptional. Tamarack Welding in Whitehorse is the shop to help any RV traveller for running gear and suspension!
