After driving 2-1/2 hours to look at and test drive boat, I found the plug still in it. The aftermarket radio, amp, cranking and troll batteries completely submerged under water. I was told could not drive boat as owner was not in that day. Mind you that information could have been relayed to me prior to taking off work and traveling to view the boat. Today was a pure pleasure working w/Jessica at Sportsman to secure a brand new Robalo 160 in steel blue at a terrific price. She is the best genuine salesperson to do business with & offered to pick me up at the airport to take me to the truck rental so I could tow the boat back home. A true night and day difference from a previous bigger dealer I was working with.
I purchased a boat from them in April 2025. I've purchased several boats over the years and this was by far the BEST experience I've had at a dealer. I traveled from GA to LA to purchase the boat (over 10 hours one way) BUT Jessica was able to answer any questions I had and she took care of every detail of the purchase before I arrived. I hope this is the last boat I'll ever own otherwise I'd keep buying boats from The Sportsman!!!
Brought my boat to them for warranty work on the motor and received a call three days later letting me know that they found the issue and the part will be programmed and shipped to them. The people are very knowledgeable and nice to deal with.
