Wonderful little spice store! Wayland was super kind and helpful. Offered some great suggestions to improve a spice blend I was preparing. Will definetly stop by again!
We visited this shop today after I was searching for shops in the area that sells loose leaf teas. I love tea and am not a newbie. I felt a little bit of condescension from the first older gentleman who helped me find a jasmine tea. I am aware that jasmine tea is usually mixed with other teas, but thank you for trying to make me feel naive. I've been a loyal customer of this tea shop for many years, and up until recently, I’ve loved everything about it—the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the wonderful selection of teas. However, my most recent visit during the Black Friday holiday of 2025 completely changed my perspective. I walked in, expecting the usual warm welcome, but instead, an older gentleman (who I later learned is the owner) followed me around the store.
