We moved to Headland about a year ago and have used The Sparrows Nest a few times since. So when my father-in-law passed I called Mrs.Penny to order the flowers for the casket. We wanted it to look like wild flowers and to be masculine. We were blown away with the final product. It was so beautiful! All the ladies up there are amazing and so helpful. They were a joy to work with and such a blessing during a very difficult and stressful time.
I live quite a long distance away from Dothan Alabama. Although I did live there years ago. I needed to send flowers to someone in Dothan and I needed a trustworthy person. I remembered this lady and sure enough she’s still there. And not only did she do exactly what I asked. She sent me pictures of what she done and kept in touch with me. This is very rare these days to find a situation where someone like this can’t do enough for you. This is an amazing place!
Miss Penny and her assistants make the most beautiful flower arrangements. She did my wedding flowers, flowers for funerals, and many bouquets for my daughter! She has a very unique collection of flowers in addition to talented hands!
If you need flowers...this is the place! Weather it's a funeral or homecoming...simply amazing. She is a professional!!! This is a multi- generational business and you can tell. Hands down Penny is the best. And by all means...please let her fill out the card!! We love Penny and the sparrows nest is a pillar of headland! Get your order in early she's a busy lady!! A++++
