A must This is good old fasioned home-style, neighborhood Italian cooking. It's been there since 1969. Look like a spanish villa. The minute you walk in the smell is awesome. Spaghetti Bender is a family business and they welcome you like family too.
We love the salad! The Spaghetti Bender is a great place! Way too much food, but we recommend getting the full dinners as soup and salad are included. The salad mixed at the table is great! You really could fill yourself up on the soup, salad and garlic bread and take your entree home, but you might not be able to wait to eat it. The food is that good here!
Italian Restaurant This is an excellent hole in the wall Italian Restaurant. The price is very reasonable and the food quality is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in Newport Beach.
Good meatballs A dinner at the Spaghetti Bender is huge! Two people could share it. The best thing to do is eat there because you get more and it stays fresh, obviously. They have a wonderful salad with avocados and capers, a delicious minestrone soup, and of course very good pasta. I love the basic spaghetti with meatballs.
