Magnificent. It was everything we were looking for while spending days hiking to come back and relax here. It is quiet and tucked in the woods. Beautiful setting. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Enjoyed our stay.

Laura has served us two days in a row. (We had to come back because food and service are exceptional!) Laura is personable, always on time with anything we need, and simply a joy to be around. She understands how to care for guests and to make friends along the way, as well. So glad we discovered the resort and Mallards. We will be back - and soon!

Good luck if you’re trying to book a massage appointment at their spa. They don’t answer the phone and if you leave a voicemail like prompted they do not return calls. If you try to get smart and call the resort front desk they can’t take down your information because the spa operates at a different location. Mind you I called them multiple times before my trip dates to book and on my trip trying to book with them.

I had a massage and facial. The facial was a quality service and the technician was polite and friendly. However, the mom-to-be massage was sub par and stressful and that really overshadowed my experience. The massage therapist talked and talked and talked about her personal life for nearly the entire massage. She was unprofessional and out of touch— people, least if all pregnant women, don’t come to a spa to be bombarded with over sharing. It was awkward and not at all what I expected. I've been 3 times for the basic swedish massage and every time has been the best massage I've ever had. They do a great job of cross training their staff to deliver similar quality experiences. The facilities are excellent and clean every time. Carly helped me this latest time and she was fantastic, providing a great massage and tips to help strengthen ares of my body that need it.
