Excellent Spa – I've been going to Mandy for 10 years and have always gotten excellent service and results. I've sent countless people to them and all of them have had good experiences with Mandy and the Spa at Highland Oaks.
PIEDMONT COSMETIC SURGERY AND DERMATOLOGY CENTER – Bad customer care service,unreliable staff,rude staff,waiting at the reception is long even after you check in,staff will not follow up with you, if their running behind,They will let you wait again in the room,waiting for the Dr. Important Spencer ! for almost an hour,and will just see you in a couple of seconds,Doctor will not follow up with your Labs even if its resulted ,My labs were abnormal and i was not notified or warn,i have to remember asking it or else they dont c... read more
The Spa at Highland Oaks – I received the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. The staff was pleasant but woefully inadequate. The equipment was fility. The price was way over what was done. The description of services was nothing like what was received. The nail salons do a better job at a fraction of the cost.
LOVE MY New LIps!! – I just finished the permanant make-up proceedure on my li[ps. They have always been thin and fairly pale in color. Pam helped me choose just the right shade (looks completely natural) and cheated my lip line just enough giving me the pretty lips I've always wanted. She numbed the area...it really NEVER hurt ! The result is amazing I only wonder what took me so long. I
Dr. David Spencer was disciplined by the NC Med Board – Just a warning. I have been a client before, but I have heard recently about the problems with this doctor. I would be really careful about what you let the staff do to you at the Spa at Highland Oaks in Winston-Salem.
Best place for Permanent Cosmetics – I was recently at The Spa at Highland Oaks and had a wonderful experience. I was nervous at first because of a previous review, but I heard Pam Neary was the best permanent make-up artist in the area from many of my friends so I called the spa to ask about her. What I was told was that she has performed over 1200 procedures, and had even trained others in the area in the art of permanent make-up and that she even had doctors who came to her for their permanent make-up. Stuffy – This day spa is beautiful and they have a couple people working for them that do an excellant job and then they have the remainer few employees who are stuffy and seem to turn their noses to you. The woman who does their permanent makeup has about the worse attitude of anyone i have ever meet. When I inquired about ther cost of a procedure I was quoted a price much different from the price I got over the phone? Wonder why this is not consistent ? Does it depend on how much money she thinks you have? Will not be back... read more
Very Impressed – Great selection of products. A very relaxing medspa. I had Botox and the PA was very knowledgable and had a great attitude. I already made my next appointment to try acupuncture. The entire staff was wonderful. I will definately go back
Welcoming Staff, Relaxing Environment – Very friendly staff! I visited the spa earlier in the week to make an appointment for a haircut and a waxing. Granted, I got there today and they had reserved a spot for my haircut but not my waxing. After my haircut, I had to wait 45 minutes - fortunately I had some local errands to run. Debbie did a great job cutting my hair. I felt comfortable telling her what I wanted and when I needed something changed.
