After various visits to Santa Barbara County's only casino, Chumash Casino, I was ready to explore more of the resort's features. For my sister's surprise 40th birthday, I figured this would be the perfect escape to discover zen. While I love the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa and Ritz Carlton Bacara, the Chumash was almost half the cost. So fun, I won 4 grand
I would have given 5 stars for my massage and the therapist. I took away a star for the staff at the spa. I went in an hour early to confirm my appointment time and see if I needed to know anything in advance and was sent away with no information other than a time to return for my services. When I came back I was given a tour which revealed a lovely sauna and steam room with an outdoor mineral spring pool.
