The Spa at Briar Barn Inn is cozy, and comfortable. From easy booking, to friendly reception and thoughtfully curated products/retail, the experience was even better than what I had anticipated. Monique made me feel incredible comfortable and at ease. She practiced embodied consent, checking in throughout the treatment to make sure all was well. As a mom herself, she knew exactly what I needed and also how comfortable or uncomfortable I would feel in my postpartum body. I cannot wait to book another massage with her :)

Sadly I did not have a good experience. It was my first time at the Spa and was looking forward to a relaxing facial. I had a small, barely visible lip cold sore and for safety reasons I was told I could not have a facial. We changed the treatment to a “relaxation” package which included a head , shoulder and arm massage. It sounded all very nice until she put gloves on to massage any part of my skin. I got a gift card for Christmas to spend some time with my daughter for my birthday, this is our third trip here (annual) and let me tell you it was awesome as usual! I can't wait to go again next year I love everything about the spa, the estheticians and massage therapists. This is a gift that I really look forward to. Thank you Briar Barn!
