The Sows Ear blends excellent food with an upscale yet casual atmosphere. I made reservations for a Monday evening, coming up from Morro Bay. I was walked to my seat and ordered straight away. Service was prompt and my meal was quickly brought out to my table. I ordered the house macaroni and cheese which taken from their menu, consists of Andouille sausage, smoked chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh chive, tossed in penne pasta with gruyere, bleu, and parmesan cheeses. Honestly been a few years since I've been here but I had a great experience. I had the coffee crusted steak with blue cheese. My first time having blue cheese and probably still my favorite.
