Been looking for a place with great soul food for on our way home from Florida. So many trips and we have never experienced one that was worth the stop. This one will be our go to for sure from now on. Brittney our server was fantastic. And our fried chicken with the sweet chili sauce (husband had the sauce, I had mine on the side) was perfect. Sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes and charred green beans were so so good. We will be back every single time we make the trip.
We have been here multiple times and the food and service has always been fabulous. Last night was no exception. It has become one of our favorite downtown spots to eat. I love that the menu changes with the seasons. We started off with the Smoked Fried Mozzerella and boy was it yummy. Very different from what we have had before. I had the wood fired Redfish over grits with the crawfish etouffe. It was very unique and something you don't see around alot of the restaurants around here. Great Place.
Food was mediocre. Prime rib with garlic potatoes. Spicy spaghetti with scallops. Prime rib was juicy and tender but very little flavor. Spaghetti was spiced but not spicy even by German standards. Garlic potatoes were perfectly creamy and flavorful. The fried okra looked good but was difficult to eat. It was crunchy outside and tough and gooey inside. Waitresses was fantastic and very nice. In town visiting and stopping in to have a drink with my dad and check out the store nextdoor. Such a cute place!! I can't wait to go back and try the food, it looked and smelled absolutely amazing!
