My husband and I went tonight for our anniversary, and we’d never been to ST before, so we were excited. My husband had a steak, but was disappointed as it VERY greasy. I’m assuming there was just too much butter on it, but the fact that we paid $50 for a steak he didn’t enjoy was upsetting. I had the blackened catfish, which was great.
Been wanting to try this place for awhile after hearing great reviews. We were there early evening. Only a few other guests. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. We sat near the door and the hostess. The young hostess had a mouthful of gum and was smacking and popping the entire meal. The drinks from the bar were good and heavy on the alcohol. Truffle fries and bacon Mac and cheese were the highlights.
The Southern Table did our wedding catering and we received so many compliments on the food. They allowed us to do a free tasting at their storefront, and they executed beautifully day of. They even brought us plates to ensure we ate dinner. We also had Valentine’s dinner at their storefront and it was one of the best meals ever. We will definitely reminisce on our day by visiting their restaurant again.
