Menu changes are awful. I don’t know if the chef left or prices got too high, But it’s very unfortunate to see the shift in this place it was my absolute favorite restaurant in Athens
We were extremely pleased with our dining experience and plan to make a trip back again. Our server, Brittany, did a wonderful job!
I wish I’d gotten pictures of the food. It was very yummy, but I started eating plowed right through it before I remembered. I got the hamburger southern style with the pimento spread. Very yummy. My friend got fried chicken and fried okra, huge portion. And my husband got a brisket sandwich all were very tasty and the service was excellent. When we were done, we went through the Mercantile next-door where candy is sold by the pound.
This was an excellent restaurant choice. It is great for anyone looking for a special occasion dinning establishment. The unique options make it a rarity for those looking to try more exotic foods outside of the typical southern food selection. The service was excellent with very knowledgeable staff on all the menu items. Fantastic experience all around.
One of the best spots in town. One of the best prime ribs you’ll have. Some of the nicest staff you’ll ever meet. This is a great place if you’re looking for a simple date night spot or bringing the family along. Get the garlic mashed potatoes. You won’t regret it.
