I love coming to this restaurant... we drive over an hour and a half just to eat here ... today however my soul was crushed ... I discovered they no longer have their ever so delicious fried green tomatoes ... please for the love of everything good and kind put these back on the menu ... imma still come down but the good food 💚
My husband and I absolutely adore The Southern Table. We go here very, very frequently, and somehow they continue to impress us every single time. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the specials are always outstanding. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to my favorites—the lamb chops and wood-fired oysters never disappoint. Stopped in for brunch. This was my first visit. Had shrimp and grits. Shrimp cooked perfect. Bacon and tomatoes in the dish did not seem to compliment dish. Dish was good, but not outstanding. My mimosas were ok.. I ordered beniets to go. I prefer a traditional beniet. These tasted like deep fried dough with some candied bacon on top. I did not like the beniets. Service was great. I will probably visit again and try some different dishes.
We came with a large group on short notice. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere is very quaint and makes this a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some of the most delicious food I have had in quite some time. I had the Southern Table burger and opted for the cucumber and tomatoes instead of the fries (although I did sneak a few of my husband’s fries).
