Reliable Favorite: The Som in Downtown Burlington, IA Great service and atmosphere. The cheese curds are the best ever! The Som has become one of my go-to spots in downtown Burlington, and my fourth visit (with a completely different menu variation each time) confirmed why. Terrific brussel sprouts...and so much more. Yummy cocktails, cool atmosphere, bar food with a higher level of attention. We like it when we walked in.
I was skeptical of the fried deviled eggs, but they won me over for sure!
Our experience at The Som was fantastic! We spent our 4th of July date night at The Som and were met with a wonderful experience. The chicken pita and skinny fries are so delicious. Their ranch is as tasty as well. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with warm, dark lighting. We totally recommend this downtown Burlington restaurant.
