Please save yourself time and money. Dr.Bruce canceled on me more than twice when she knew I was in need of a therapist (these appointments were booked WEEKS in advance) And from the looks of the other reviews, it happens often. Honestly feel like they only care about the money at this place. Save yourself the trouble and take my advice because I am honestly, extremely disappointed.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! Dr Erica Bruce will cancel on you last minute!! I’ve had her cancel on me twice 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment. She is the most inconsistent inconsiderate therapist I’ve came across. Erica Bruce is the owner/director of the solace center and can’t even bother to take care of her patients. On top of that the receptionists they have are rude and can’t even pick up the phone. I called from 10am to 10:45am and that’s when someone finally answered the phone. Save your money and your time here!!
Erica Bruce is a social worker. Not a doctor. State law requires her to clarify this with clients instead of allowing people to keep posting here calling her a doctor with her replying back to them.
Doctor Erica Bruce was fine, they issue I have is with their billing department. I used my wife's and mine health insurance for several sessions, but now they are coming at me after two years for claims that they did not file with insurance on time and they want me to pay in full. That is absurd: they did not file on time and now they are asking me for the money that the insurance was supposed to pay. At this point just say that you don't accept insurance and every customer has to pay out-of-pocket!!! Be aware.
